4th EU-India Joint Seminar on Employment and Social Policy on

Skills and Employment Policy in the Context of Recovery from the Global Job Crisis

Dr. Anni Weiler contributed for the second time as a key note speaker to a joint EU-India Seminar on Employment and Social Policy organised within the framework of the bilateral cooperation between India and the Directorate General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities of the European Commission.
The joint seminar on Skills and Employment Policy in the Context of Recovery from the Global Job Crisis took place on 5-6 July 2010 in Brussels.
The focus of the joint seminar was on an exchange of experiences and good practices in the area of skills policies between the EU and India and included the context of wider international discussions on employment and social consequences of the crisis at global level. The emphasis was on international cooperation in the area of skills development, anticipation and matching with labour market needs.

Attractive Workplaces: Innovative company strategies for growth and jobs

The AWWW GmbH was the project leader of the project Attractive workplaces: Innovate company strategies for growth and jobs conducted for the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Info sheet).

The outcome of the project are 102 case study reports. The case studies can be found here.

The case study collection for the project was selected by the Center for Advanced Human Resource Studies for the CAHRS Top Ten list in January 2008.

Case studies conducted by the the AWWW GmbH are: Bayer, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Deutsche Steinkohle, Eurogate, Grünbeck Wasseraufbereitung, Opel Hoppmann, and Sick
